The Technology Vendor Manager will manage the IT Portfolio of 160 vendors ensuring that all BRMs are adhering to Bank policies and standards. You will manage vendor risk appropriately and drive and create best in class management strategy and programs for the Technology organization and the Bank. You will directly manage the relationship between key strategic vendors and business partners, understanding the complete breadth of professional services provided by vendors and current support services for each business unit. Responsible for understanding the types of services being provided to the bank, overseeing each vendor account, including projects, project cost, SOW management, SLAs, executive reporting. Serve as an escalation point for BOW and vendors. Partner with key stakeholders across the bank to ensure that financial, performance and risk and compliance requirements are being met.
Essential Job Functions
Develop, implement and execute a vendor management program scalable to support vendors managed by leaders in BOW business units.
Manage technology vendor management team, provide direction, coaching and performance management to ensure team development and attainment of goals.
Manage supplier performance to ensure compliance of contract requirements. Proactively drive process and improvements that will result in cost reduction, productivity, and service level enhancements.
Establish vendor alliances through communication and information sharing. Ensure vendors remain focused on our mutual goals, plans, and investments to meet our growing needs.
Oversee vendor performance and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Establish and deploy an aggressive Vendor Management Program that includes vendor metrics, KPI reporting and analysis, scorecards and formal business reviews.
Ensure service levels are maintained, schedules are met and formal reporting and invoicing are timely and accurate.
Maintain relationships with internal departments to maintain policies and practices.
10 years of broad management experience with strong people management skills
Vendor management experience including oversight of risk and performance of vendor portfolio with technology and off-shore vendors
End to end project/program management delivery leading cross-functional teams
Experience managing IT Requests for proposals including requirements gathering, vendor coordination and proposal evaluation
Experience with multi-national vendors and vendor management practices.
Strong business acumen with contract, financial and operational risk management experience with experience managing $100 million spend
Experience managing technology contracts; hardware, software, data & voice networks, and services preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organizations skills a must: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Knowledge of Microsoft licensing and procurement process
Proactive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves to meet the business requirements.
