Job Description Summary

Responsible for overall management of Procurement Operations including vendor evaluation and onboarding, contract administration, and purchase operations. Ensures efficient

process in place to manage

processing vendor purchase

orders, managing common

spend categories and ensuring overall

compliance with internal

and external sourcing

policies and procedures. As a key Strategic Sourcing

leader, work in close coordination with the disbursement team to design

and execute a clear procure-to-pay workflow for the organization.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsibleforleadingcontractadministrationoperationsincludingvendoronboarding,andongoingoversightofvendorrelationshiptoensurethatallaspectsoftherelationshipareaddressedwithinexpectedtimethresholdsbythevendor manager,riskmanagerorstrategicprocurement.

  • ServesassystemownerforallcurrentandfutureprocurementrelatedsystemsincludingCoupa,CPRS,Concur,OfficeMaxamongstothers.

  • Managesallpurchaseoperationsforcommonspendcategoriesforthebankservingastheprimaryvendor manager,andworkingwiththeStrategicProcurementteamtoensureongoingefficiencyismaintained.

  • Workswithmultiplebusinessunitstoensureportfolioofvendorsaremanagedwithinexpectations.EnsuresteamisprovidingandtrackingSLAs,answeringinquiriesandresolvingproblemsidentifiedbystaffand/orotherdepartments.

  • Identifiesandreportsproblemsupwardsasappropriate;includingcommunicationoflargepotentiallossesandrecoveries totheBoardofDirectors.

  • Respondtoauditinquiriesandexceptionreports.

  • Providetraining,coachingandoversighttoProcurementOperationsstafftobuildteamcohesivenessandstaffdevelopment.

  • ServeasakeymemberoftheStrategicSourcingleadershipteamengagingandassistinginallSourcingrelatedactivitiesasrequired.

  • Transformationalpurchasing activities, including process, organizational and tool redesign;

  • Performsotherdutiesasassigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Requiresbroadmanagementknowledgetoleadprojectteamsinonedepartment.

  • Typicallyhasmasterylevelknowledgeandskillswithinaspecifictechnicalorprofessionaldisciplinewithbroadunderstandingofotherareaswithinthejobfunction.

  • Requires10-12yearsminimumpriorrelevantexperience.
