In the Senior Agile@Scale Delivery Leader role, you'll ensure transformation success by leveraging your experience in scaled environments to enable predictable, quality delivery across multiple tribes while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the Agile@Scale ecosystem. The Agile Delivery Lead will optimize tribe productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the enterprise goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to cross tribe changes and challenges.
The Senior Agile@Scale Delivery Leader will provide coaching and mentoring to their team, enterprise tribes, and executives to adopt organizational best practices in agility, and an agile mindset, making us all faster, better, and happier. The Agile Delivery Lead will create and deploy practical solutions that accelerate business and technology to create value with a maniacal focus on the customer. The successful leader will be able to work under minimal supervision as well as within a team environment.
Essential Job Functions
Extraordinary ability to communicate the value of Scaled Agility to the bank, including executives, managers, and individual contributors.
Connect the concepts of business strategy, operations, and agility including our agile@scale Target Operating Model (TOM) transformation, and change management
Co-create, design, and support enterprise Agile@Scale transformation roll-out.
Provide scaled Agile leadership coaching and training to scrum masters, product owners, tribe leaders, and executives.
Collaborate directly with tribes to coach and guide them on the mechanics of Agile methods to achieve optimal team effectiveness.
Create, launch, and facilitate Agile collaborative groups, Communities of Practice, and Agile Working Groups.
Continuously develop the skills of potential and existing coaches impacting all levels of the organization.
Embrace servant leadership and display the behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with Agile methods.
Coach tribes and management towards improving Agile process and metrics, evaluate and mentor existing Tribes/Squads.
Develop the enterprise Agile coaches, tribe/squad coaches, and release train engineers, to improve how they help delivery Tribes/Squads and Portfolios manage and optimize predictable flow of value.
Partner with executive leaders on establishing tailored agile transformation roadmaps and plans across different areas of the business.
Able to coach and train in Agile at all levels of the organization, leveraging the BotW Agile framework, including Scrum and Kanban as well as Agile@Scale principles.
Instills the discipline within the Agile tribes to commit to Quarterly Agile Planning, with small batches of work, reducing feedback cycles, and adjusting to changing needs.
Advises on key Iteration (Product Increment, Sprints, etc.) practices, on how to effectively and pragmatically teach tribes how to break work into small features and user Story backlogs and groom for the next product increment or sprint.
