Job Description Summary
Contributes to the end to end software application including design, development, testing and deployment in a fast paced agile development environment. Participate in the POCs of new technologies and tools to meet the business needs. This role requires technology agnostic logical problem solving skills to provide business solutions using full stack application development.
Essential Job Functions
Understands end to end software development and delivery needs, from inception to production
Participates and performs design and peer code reviews
Hands-on coder who can build end-to-end software, including micro services architecture, and security and design patterns
Conducts technical designs reviews with internal and cross-functional teams
Implements new features, maintaining and refactoring existing code in order to build the new systems or enhance existing applications independently
Job Responsibilities :
You will be part of a cross-functional technology team responsible for the end-to-end development, implementation, support, and enhancement of an application for a functional line of business. You will partner with multiple members of the larger IT team.
Create working software in a scaled agile environment.
Build procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications.
Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support.
Identify, escalate and document production impact issues.
Evaluate user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities.
Required Skills :
Must know React or Angular Development languages : Need to know at least one of following programming language - Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Java, Ruby or Python. Database and cache : Need to know one of the following database/cache - Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached and Varnish. Basic design ability : Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design. Server : Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux. Excellent writing and communication skills Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
Requires 3 years minimum prior relevant experience
5 years experience as a full stack developer
2 years experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or a related field required
