Job Description Summary

Through general supervision, responsible for processing post-booking contract maintenance entries in the business source system (monetary and non-monetary contract changes). Contract maintenance relates to equipment finance agreements originated by the business. The team member will work in a team environment and closely with a peer, Information Technology team on other system related support tasks of moderately complex business systems. Capable of troubleshooting, tracking and providing first level support to multiple business groups, coordinating resolution of supported applications with business users, IT and vendors.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support business processing of contract changes in a source system (monetary and non-monetary contract changes).

  • Work closley with peers and an Information Technology team to support other system related support tasks in moderatley complex business systems

  • Performs moderately complex system administration tasks such as rate structure changes, report maintenance, test data setup, and server/application monitoring; and may develop system components using product specific tools to create reports and other objects.

  • Partners with IT, vendors, and business systems analysts in performing root cause analysis and recommendation of viable solutions. Assists manager in tracking trends in incident/problem reporting.

  • Notifies and keeps Business Units and Department management abreast of business processing issues in source systems that affect the business.

  • Participates in evaluating, reviewing and automating existing business processing in source systems.

  • Updates system administration documentation for all assigned systems.

Other Job Duties

  • May support and maintain test environment for supported business systems.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience (preference for business processing support in a variety of source systems).

  • Requires 3 years minimum prior relevant experience in system administration

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Skills

  • Moderate knowledge of business systems software, PC’s, LAN’s, WAN’s.

  • Moderate knowledge of Financial Banking systems.

  • Moderate knowledge of Systems Administration.

  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Moderate knowledge of Process Improvement.

  • Moderate experience in Visual Basic macro’s.
