Job Description Summary
Responsible for overall management of the Contract Management function and
staff, including proposing template edits, process improvement, establishing
BOTW’s contractual stance with its Third Party Providers (TPPs), and ensuring
the Bank is adhering to both regulatory guidance, internal and external
policies as well as its own mandate to mitigate risks and realize savings through
negotiation of contractual terms. As a key Strategic Sourcing leader, work in
close coordination with the Sourcing, Purchasing Operations, Controls &
Governance and other subject matter expert teams to ensure a comprehensive,
smooth end-to-end process.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for leading Contract Management team.
As a key Contract Management subject matter expert,
leading the contracting strategy, includingmaintenance of documentation, proposing program changes, leading changemanagement and training efforts;
Identify and lead transformational sourcing andcontracting activities, including identification, development andexecution of improvements of tools, processes, procedures.
ensuring contracting practices align with industrybest practice;
providing guidance on adhering to contractingstandards, while maintaining a healthy balance of risk and reward;
answering inquiries and resolving problems identifiedby staff and/or other departments;
Providing guidance to internal business clients onProcurement capabilities and processes; and,
escalating matters to the appropriate management orgovernance forums for resolution.
Negotiate and draft TPP agreements and work with peersand clients to ensure appropriate contract approvals are obtained anddocumented.
Provide contract management services for strategic andmajor agreements across multiple categories.
Negotiate and resolve disputes with suppliers.
Track cost savings and other key performance metricsand present to senior management.
Manage team’s priorities.
Partner with the Legal Department on complexcontracting issues.
Respond to audit inquiries and exception reports.
Provide training, coaching and oversight to ContractManagement staff to build team cohesiveness and staff development.
Serve as a key member of the Strategic Sourcingleadership team engaging and assisting in all Sourcing related activitiesas required.

- Bachelor's Degree
10 years of relevant experience in procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain,procurement, finance, management or equivalent; MBA or JD, a plus.
Or an equivalent combination of experience andeducation.
Proven ability in managing high-level complex suppliercontracts and partnerships.
Proven track record of excellent interpersonal skills,including consensus building, resolving conflicting points of view andworking with stakeholders with diverse skill sets
Proven negotiation/influencing skills with suppliersand all levels of management.
Superior oral and written communication andpresentation skills.
Must be an absolute self-starter, with strong projectmanagement skills, and possess the ability to effectively manage multipledemands and competing priorities and deadlines.
Advanced skill levels in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of GAAP and Financial Industrypolicies and practices.
