Job Description Summary

Responsible for directing the functional activities of assigned staff including technical design, product evaluations, and project management. Provides management with direction and leadership in technical areas. Provides advice and counsel to management concerning the application of computing techniques to business problems. Assigned area(s) of responsibility are activities of high complexity and impact.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develops open, considerate, effective and productive working relationships with customers, external contacts and individuals throughout BOTW.

  • Understands and uses BOTW software, hardware and technology. Has the ability to operate required office equipment.

  • Draws information and broad knowledge to make timely and logical decision that provides practical solutions for customers and others.

  • Responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity and other pressures.

  • Assumes responsibility for effectively meeting objectives, motivates self to get the job done, performs job duties in an organized, accurate and productive fashion, seeks out and is open to knowledge, ideas and feedback to improve effectiveness and holds self-accountable for following policies guidelines and procedures.

  • Uncovers customer needs, relates benefits to product/service features, handles objections and closes the sale. Also makes effective use of appropriate resources for delivering services which balance organizational objectives and customer needs, and identifies new opportunities that add value for customers and enhances the value of the relationship for BOTW.

  • Possesses managerial interest and a leadership orientation.

Other Job Duties

  • Supports training and professional development for staff members as needed to perform job duties

  • May conduct vendor negotiations and develop contract proposals.

  • Manages employees directly, through subordinates and occasionally other managers.

  • Establishes performance goals, allocates resources, assesses annual performance and recommends individual merit and promotional increases.

  • Maintains professional contacts with other companies, research bodies and equipment manufacturers concerning computer applications and equipment.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Experience

  • Requires 10-12 years minimum prior relevant experience

  • 10 years of experience managing application Support / Development team experience in legacy, SAAS, vendor supported applications across multiple platforms.

  • 15 years of experience architecting/implementing operationally efficient solutions.

  • 10 years of experience supporting applications in Linux/Windows environment supporting incident/change management for day to day operations.

  • 5 years of experience supporting multiple applications in Corporate, Finance, Risk , HR applications in financial/banking industry.

  • 8 years of experience on supporting SLA , triaging/managing critical command center calls resolving P1 critical issues.

  • 5 years of experience working powershell/python/shellscript.

  • 3 years of experience working on Agile/scrum methodology

  • 2 years of experience managing IT offshore strategy


  • Bachelor's Degree
