Position Summary

Lead and manage the savings exception rate process which includes tracking, processing, rate pointer management and quarterly review of accounts. Implement and validate all disclosures for Savings/CD products and pricing, and manage customer outreach / experience. Support deposit pricing governance routines and validate all product pricing changes to ensure accuracy.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Assists manager in the development of business strategies, and directs execution against those strategies. Partners broadly across the organization - systems, finance, legal, compliance, training, marketing and all channels - to deliver against defined business objectives successfully.

  2. Evaluates ideas for new products, investigates business segment opportunities and effect on market of present products; recommends exploitation of economically attractive opportunities. Makes strong and well-reasoned recommendations, and advances controversial or unpopular positions if they are in the best interests of the business.

  3. Understands and represents the interests of the customer, translating customer needs into actionable business opportunities.

  4. Evaluates current economic conditions and regulatory environment, and advises management of possible impact on entire product and service lines of the overall business segment.

  5. Gathers market intelligence so that business segment opportunities may be capitalized on as they occur and the effects of competitive activity are minimized.

  6. Assists the development and recommendations of pricing strategies that will result in meeting specific business segment and or product objectives.

  7. Ensures all new and existing products and communication related to products are in compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.

  8. End-to-end Pricing Governance meeting and process ownership

  9. Lead and manage the exception rate process which includes tracking, processing, rate pointer management and quarterly review of accounts

  10. Implement and validate all disclosures for Savings/CD products and pricing, and manage customer outreach / experience

  11. Controls, governance, and audit support

  12. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Required Education or Equivalent Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years of applicable experience

Administrative/Technical Skills

  • Analytical and research

  • Bank product and service knowledge preferred

  • Coordinate meetings

  • Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Negotiation skills

  • Finance experience preferred

  • Presentation skills

  • Use personal computer

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
