Job Description Summary

Responsible for complex enterprise program initiatives which have considerable employee impact and involve significant internal and/or external resources. Plays a key role in leading program development, integration, process/technology, conversions and other special considerations as approved. Leads the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, launching and ongoing oversight of various enterprise programs.

Responsible for supporting an array of activities that support the vision of the Technology Retail and Digital Group working closely with leadership to drive operational initiatives. This includes Strategic Workforce Planning, Business Operational Planning and Risk Management Planning and Reporting

Processes activities that include approach definition, data gathering, researching trends, project management, and developing and owning a communication and engagement strategy.

Performs various other duties such as dashboard development, communication planning, Town hall event management, researching trends, and other ad hoc requests. Develops and maintains business cases as required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Performs strategy formulation, development, implementation, and evaluation to advance the operational success of the Group.

  • Performs analyses of financial, economic, managerial and operational data; this includes development and use of dashboards, performance indicators and metrics.

  • Developing and presenting Executive level material

  • Identifies desired results and provides forecasting / development for achievement of those results.

  • Develops proposals for, or refinements of, and advocates for an integrated strategic planning process; helps implement and further refine the approved process.

  • Analyzes strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats; establishes long-term organizational objectives and strategies to achieve these objectives.

  • Develops supporting action plans and OKR’s to track progress, recommends allocation of resources to work toward objectives

  • Reviews, and recommends improvement of business plans, processes and operations; this includes assessment of organizational readiness for, and exercise of, operational agility and flexibility.

  • Anticipates and collaborates in defining Program capabilities in support of specific Business Unit strategic roadmaps and creating supporting business strategy.

  • Partners with Senior Executives to define an integrated Program vision and strategy based on industry, regulatory, and internal needs.

  • Counsels on design, development or outsourcing, program management and overall life cycle and implementation activities for a wide range of Programs/Services for enterprise use.

  • Creates transparency into the Program portfolio for ongoing support capital and operating expenses and budgets. Reports to Senior Leadership on key success metrics.

  • Adopts and executes Program standards as established throughout the enterprise

  • Drives the assessment and definition of new Program initiatives and partners with various CoEs in determining best methods for meeting enterprise needs through combination of outsourced resources and internal services integration and/or program development.

  • Lead the prioritization efforts and manage any trade-offs among regulatory requirements, team member experience, enterprise strategy, and various operational demands.

  • Define creative, high-quality, and realistic Program roadmaps that integrate with other corporate initiatives.

Required Experience

  • Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • Typically viewed as a specialist within discipline.

  • May have broad knowledge of project management.

  • Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience.

  • Experience of working in a Technology Organization or solid technical acumen

  • Proven leadership and business experience in the assessment, development and delivery of business programs



  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience

  • Over 7 years of professional experience


  • Experience in data analysis and/or business development

  • Strong willingness and demonstrated ability to work with data, interpret trends, and present findings to stakeholders

  • Strong ability balance numerous time-sensitive requests

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, creativity, and initiative

  • Acute attention to detail and ability to produce polished deliverables

  • Excellent ability to write content and deliver clear messaging (written and oral communication)

  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Lean management, preferred but not required

  • Proactive team player, with an ability to influence decision making.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

  • Strong business acumen along with confidence to interact with senior colleagues and key client contacts

  • Gather and analyze information, formulate & test hypotheses and develop / communicate recommendations

  • Contributing to the groups location strategy analysis and reporting

  • Reporting of risks, mitigation and resolutions

  • Maintain tools / templates (SharePoint / Excel / Confluence)

  • Be able to successfully navigate ambiguity and uncertainty

  • Experience of Agile

  • Strong experience with developing diverse communication channels including digital platforms

  • Ability to engage in both strategic design and tactical implementation
