Job Description Summary

Responsible for configuration and development in

the IBM Incentive Compensation Management tool, including calculation streams,

data, reporting, and ETL, supporting the Bank incentive compensation plans

Essential Job Functions

  • Buildand modify incentive plans and incentive plan components both in the IBMIncentive Compensation Management (ICM) product and SQL Server.

  • Overseesthe formulation and definition of small project/system scope andobjectives and development of detailed systems specifications from whichprograms will be written and that fit with the Bank's system architecturestandards.

  • Ensureschange controls, compliance, risk management, business continuityactivities for Incentive systems.

  • Directsthe evaluation existing systems and procedures to identify deficienciesand maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/outputrequirements, and storage. Reviews the analysis, development and revisionsto existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.

  • Primaryliaison to business partners (internal and/or external) through coding andimplementation to ensure incentive plans are implemented correctly in theICM.

  • Counselsbusiness partners by providing coordination and analytical assistance suchas interpretation of requirements; developing detailed requirements; andsystem definition.

Other Job Duties

  • Maintainsupdated systems documentation (including policies and procedures), SLAagreements, audit readiness, and an effective disaster recovery process.

  • Developsand builds ETL components using SQL Server SSIS tool.

  • Conductsfeasibility studies and recommends new or enhanced system components tomeet business needs.

  • Tracksand reviews vendor deliverables and coordinates vendor activities asneeded which may include integration of vendor tasks and contractualcommitments.

  • Performsother duties as assigned.


Required Experience

  • Requiresdeep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced educationcombined with experience.

  • Typicallyviewed as a specialist within discipline.

  • Mayhave broad knowledge of project management.

  • Requires7 years minimum prior relevant experience.


  • Bachelor'sDegree


  • Knowledgeof the IBM ICM product desired.

  • Thoroughknowledge of database programming, documentation and SQL.

  • Thoroughknowledge of applications development methodologies.

  • Thoroughknowledge of systems hardware, software, and system administration.

  • Thoroughknowledge of financial Banking systems.

  • Enhancesthe performance of systems based on analysis and tuning of systems.

  • Providesleadership, advice, and support to management, staff, and system users inthe application of technology to business projects and services.

  • Developsrequirements and coordinates introduction of enhancements or new products.

  • Partnerswith internal businesses to improve/address incentive related business ortechnology gaps or deficiencies, communications, system availability, dataintegration and customer service.
