Job Description Summary

This role reports directly to the Head of the

Enterprise Portfolio Services and is tasked with and accountable for compiling,

maintaining and publishing a weekly view of project portfolio supply and

capacity constraints. This role also works with resources and project managers

to help them update staffing plans to ensure resource availability for

prioritized projects. In addition, this role is responsible for performing a

regular impact assessment on the IT and non-IT resources and adjusting the

roadmap accordingly.

EssentialJob Functions

  • Gap analysis:
  1. Conducts regular gap analysis of demand versus capacity andpublishes details

  2. Reviews impact at an IT vertical level and adjusts roadmapaccordingly

  • Detailed ResourceAction plan:
  1. Coordinates with resource managers to publish a weeklyresource action plan

  2. Highlights capacity constraints and negotiates with resourcemanagers to help them update staffing plans

  3. Chairs ad hoc key capacity constraints meeting

  • Program oversight:
  1. Primary owner of programatic effort to capture, maintain andcommunicate critical resource capacity information

  2. Point of contact to get a view into IT resources andallocation to projects

Other Job Duties

  • Assist in managing function's efforts to meet compliance requirements.

  • Advises on milestones as needed for reporting to appropriate management levels and communicates budget and status milestones as defined for the project.

  • Recommends policies andprocedures that are consistent with overall company policies and operatingobjectives.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • May have deep knowledge of project management.

  • Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting

Skills

  • Recognizes resource issues and concerns requiring resolution in a timely and professional manner and addresses them with management and appropriate staff members.

  • Goodorganizational awareness and understanding of the strategic priorities anddirection for the organization.

  • Solidrelationship building abilities across resource management and projectmanagement community.

  • Demonstrableexperience of working well under pressure

  • Solidnegotiation skills with a keen ability to persuade stakeholders towards alarger strategy based on analysis and data

  • Excellentproblem solving and organizational skills including attention to detail andmulti-tasking skills.

  • Solidtechnical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in softwaredevelopment and web technologies.

  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Excellentanalytical and computer system skills.

  • Financial Servicesindustry experience is a plus
