Job Description Summary

The Sr Manager of Business Analytics and Technology is responsible to lead the vision, strategy and execution for data and technology within the Bank under the Enterprise Business Services division. This position will lead the enterprise business analytics team and provide strategic oversight to take us to the next step of our journey to mature as a data-driven global enterprise.

We are seeking an experienced leader with deep understanding of delivering actionable insights and analytics at scale to all levels of the corporate services business including our executive leadership team.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Business Services, this role will lead the organization that is responsible for building and managing the technical infrastructure, data platform and visualization technologies within Enterprise Business Services. You are expected to drive technology strategy and analytics delivery for the following groups: corporate real estate, vendor management, and strategic sourcing while partnering with the wider Bank of the West organization.

The Bank of the West real estate portfolio is comprised of 4.8M SF and houses approx. 9,000 employees across a 19 state footprint.

Essential Job Functions

  • Devise data aggregation strategy and oversee data integration approach, creation of new & innovative data collection & delivery interfaces to enable single source of truth across the entire Enterprise Business Services division.

  • Own the vision, strategy and execution for enterprise data & analytics, ensuring scalability of systems processes and talent

  • Management of integrated technology and analytics roadmap

  • Manage data insights and analytics, including enterprise dashboards and supporting creation of functional KPI and OKR dashboards in partnership with business functions

  • Oversee data governance and data integrity across all corporate services database systems

  • Drive mentor, and motivate the organization to focus on continuous operational excellence, business analytics architecture evolution, improved solution design practices, and high-value technology selection decisions with transparency to business leaders and alignment with Enterprise Architecture

  • Build an internal and external brand for the organization aimed at talent acquisition and retention in a highly competitive market

  • Design change management program and adoption strategy for integration of advanced analytics across all business functions to ensure consistent baseline of knowledge and adoption of insights for data-driven decision making.

  • Partner with the executive leadership team and cross functional leaders to ensure they are leveraging data insights to appropriately guide their decision making.

  • Drive business execution with ability to quickly move from high level conversations into detailed operational discussions.

Other Job Functions:

  • Establish and/or participate in cross functional committees throughout the Bank and the broader BNP Paribas network in order to establish a network of ambassadors to enable the sharing of best practices, drive continuing education and rollout enterprise-wide programs and other initiatives.

  • Represents Bank of the West at industry and other outreach events to support opportunity growth.

  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, real estate or related discipline

Required Experience

  • 8 years’ experience leading global corporate real estate enterprise programs and analytics strategy with demonstrated business impact.

  • 15 years’ experience leading and developing leaders and organizations across global teams

  • Significant experience executing strategy and vision (Technology, Business Intelligence, Innovation and Governance) including development of procedures, KPIs and OKRs.
