Essential Job Functions
Identifies and implements solutions to driveincremental cost reductions and cost-avoidance opportunities for assignedcategory through category knowledge that researches and understandsleading industry trends at country, regional or global level.
Develops and executes the sourcing strategy and drivingimprovements to lower the total cost of ownership.
Interacts with and supports multiple businesses,internal and external Stakeholders, functions and Suppliers.
Effectively influences and aligns strategies andexpectations and manages individual priorities given a set of performanceobjectives.
Contributes to or develops Category SourcingStrategies, leads development of Approved Suppliers List processes.
Leads complex contract negotiations – balancing of riskand rewards.
RFI/RFQ/RFP with Supplier Selection and ContractNegotiations
Manages of Suppliers including supplier development andperformance management.
Provides guidance to internal business clients onProcurement capabilities and processes.
Other Job Duties
Works to ensure team cost savings (reduction, andavoidance) goals are achieved or exceeded and ensures business controlcompliance.
Analyzes data and strategic opportunity leading to theidentification of potential Business Partner optimization gaps. Suggests andimplements improvements/changes.
Optimizes Procurement processes to ensure BusinessPartners are able to make successful business decisions.
May lead and manage projects, promotes teamwork andcommunications in coordination with colleagues and Business Partners.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typicallyobtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have deep knowledge of project management.
Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree, Required
Masters Degree, Preferred
Thorough knowledge of strategic sourcing in CorporateReal-Estate, Professional Services and/or Marketing.
Proven ability in managing high-level complex suppliercontracts and partnerships.
Ability to work within a complex organization and actas a dynamic change agent.
Ability to perform in a fast-pace environment requiringhigh-quality of work in a variety of areas and interactions with alllevels of leadership and staff within the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PC and system applications literate.
Effective management skills.
Research and analysis.
Strong commitment to client service and teamwork.
Proven negotiation skills.
