Job Description Summary

Responsible to sell all Bank of the West Commercial Card products and services to Bank of the West clients as well as BNP Paribas multinational clients in the USA. Provide training to clients in the use of Commercial Card for all their travel, entertainment, direct and indirect purchases.

Essential Job Functions

  • Train and support all Bank of the West Cash Management Consultants and Relationship Managers to sell products to Commercial Card clients.Attend client meetings and present value propositions of Bank of the West Commercial Card products and services. Negotiate and close on all deals.Coordinate with Cash Management Consultants in getting all necessary information, documentation, and credit approvals to implement Commercial Card programs.Train all clients on the use of our Commercial Card products (e.g., online system), to reengineer their accounting processes (i.e., in lieu of bank checks), and manage the clients to lift purchase volume, retain clients and increase clients' satisfaction.Identify target clients, work with Relationship Managers and Cash Management Consultants to initiate contacts with clients and maintain a pipeline of clients.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • May have deep knowledge of project management.

  • Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of Commercial Cards.

  • Complete understanding of sales, implementation and client training for Commercial Card programs.

  • Interpersonal skills.

  • Commercial Card product knowledge.

  • Coordinate effective marketing events.

  • Demonstrate advanced sales and negotiation skills.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Ability to use PC and related software.
