Job Description Summary
General: Primarily responsible for overseeing the Inside Sales department within the Vendor business group of the Equipment Finance Division, while developing and improving policies and procedures to properly support high production volume.
Essential Job Functions
Manage Inside Sales personnel and supervise functional responsibilities of staff.
Interact with other department managers (Credit, Contract Administration, etc.) to ensure strong efficiency and accuracy in processing transactions throughout the workflow.
Document business procedures and review regularly to maintain compliance.
Assist with the development and implementation of new programs to establish clear processes. Produce utilization analysis reports to optimally allocate resources.
Act as escalation point for appeals of credit decisions and negotiations of counter-offers.
Communicate with external dealers, customers, or program partners as necessary to cultivate relationships with the Inside Sales group
Ensure inside sales business process follows all compliance requirements including AML/BSA
Consistently monitor workflow and ensure service level requirements with respect to app entry, credit decision-making and documentation preparation are met or exceeded.

Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
Requires 10-12 years minimum prior relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Field of Experience - Leadership of a business team in a large multi-faceted financial services organization, i.e. strategic planning, team building, coaching and collaboration, decision making, communicating, and leading by example.
Strong sales and customer service skills.
Highly analytical skillset with financial statement knowledge.
Excellent understanding of equipment leasing and vendor finance marketplace.
Personal computer skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word .
Administrative/Technical Skills - Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative team environment with various department managers in areas of EFD and Bank of the West.
