The Equipment Finance Division (EFD) includes:

  • Vendor Equipment Finance

  • Direct Equipment Finance

  • Indirect Equipment Finance

This position offers a base salary of 50,000 plus monthly commissions

Position Summary - EFD Account Manager – Vendor Finance Group (Inside Sales)

Within the Equipment Finance Division - Vendor Finance Group, we are currently seeking a qualified, motivated individual to expand and maintain our market presence. This person will represent products to equipment dealers and end users in our core segments. He or she will:

  • Develop relationships with our dealer network and business partners

  • Provide support to Program and Regional Sales Managers facilitating transactions and growth opportunities in both Volume and NPV

  • Assist pursuit of ongoing opportunities in the vendor finance arena

  • Complement the overall management of assigned accounts and territory

  • Assist with transactions as directed by the Inside Sales Manager

  • Negotiate lease pricing and structures that are within bank guidelines

  • Make outbound calls to targeted vendors and develop business relationships

  • Prepare and present thorough and clear credit packages for approval

  • Evaluate and assemble financial statements for presentation to the Credit Department

  • Represent interests in scrutinizing lower tier vendors or customers

  • Assist in entering credit applications and customer data as necessary

  • Identify industry marketing trends and make recommendations for action

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance

  • Will also consider equivalent combination of training and experience

Required Experience

  • Sales Experience preferred

  • Basic understanding of leasing and financial lending; esp. concepts of loans and loan origination

  • Able to review financial statements and tax returns

  • Top tier customer service skills

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Interpersonal skills and strong collaborator

  • Good business writing and grammar

  • Comfortable working with myriad personalities, at all departmental levels

  • Able to work with internal customers including credit, contract administration, customer service etc.

Preferred industry background includes: Equipment Finance, Vendor Leasing, Underwriting, Leasing, Banking (including Commercial and Retail banking), and Business Lending

  • Frequent walking and standing is required.

  • Occasional travel may be required to attend trade shows and visit customers.
