JobDescription Summary

Provide front line field based sales of finance

products for a global technology manufacturer and its reseller channel. Develop

and maintain relationships with the manufacturer’s direct sales teams and

resellers in an assigned geographic territory. Handle all aspects of sellers’ and

end user customer interaction in the field including negotiate lease terms,

pricing and facilitate the necessary credit information to underwrite

transactions. Participates in planning for business segment and strategic

programs. Responsible for monthly/annual new business production and margin

budget for assigned territory. Work within designated market segments and

provide the necessary expertise to protect assets from potential fraud and

credit loss.

Essential Job Functions

  • MarketEFD Vendor Finance equipment finance and leasing products and services to the manufacturer’s direct sales teams andresellers in an assigned geographic territory.

  • Establishin-person marketing calls with direct and reseller sales teams in assignedterritory. Expected to visit all assigned dealers and resellers multipletimes each year.

  • Makepresentations to sales teams and end users to support manufacturerprograms and financing promotions.

  • Developand nurture manufacturer and reseller relationships to continuouslyimprove financing penetration through superior service levels.

  • Workwith manufacturer, resellers and end users on new credit applications toobtain required underwriting information for new business development.

  • Mediatetransaction structuring between end user, manufacturer, reseller, and EFDCredit to maximize credit approvals.

  • Supportand collaborate with internal EFD partners/stakeholders throughout theentire transaction process. This process includes, but is not limited to, timelycredit approvals, accurate documentation generation, booking, funding andadherence to compliance protocols.

  • Interactingwith end user C-Level executives while in complex, dynamicand highly competitive sales campaigns

OtherJob Duties

  • Participate inmanufacturer and reseller sales activities and meetings.

  • Assistas necessary in the processing of transactions through the fundingprocess.

  • Abilityto use equipment finance and leasing software.

  • Abilityto accurately forecast monthly new business volume in assigned territory.

  • Familiaritywith equipment finance and leasing credit underwriting methods includingscorecard driven and financial statement driven methodologies.

  • Requiredto participate in manufacturer strategy planning and execution forassigned territory.

  • Requiredto participate in annual budgeting and forecasting with respect toassigned territory.

  • Performsother duties as assigned.

Qualifications

RequiredQualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business andor equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 7-10 years oftechnology/finance focused sales experience with demonstrated successachieving sales objectives.

  • Vendor relationship and salesterritory management experience

  • Expert in transactionmanagement, negotiations, structuring, pricing, and closure

  • Established businessdevelopment, pipeline management, and forecasting skills

  • Proven ability to workcollaboratively and productively within a cross-functional team.

  • Strategic thinker with provenability to establish goals and meet them.

  • Demonstrated ability to balancemultiple competing priorities.

  • Sense of urgency combined withstrong collaboration and teamwork abilities

  • Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills.
