What you will do

As a senior member of the Talent Team your role will be to continuously challenge, improve, and refine recruitment across all levels of the enterprise. Partnering with the HR Business Partners to understand the company objectives, you will shape the creation, evolution, management and execution of recruiting strategies to support and achieve strategic business goals. Building a culture and community that attracts top talent and diverse candidates, you will build and manage a diverse and skilled Talent Acquisition team. In addition you will oversee tools and technology that enable process improvement and efficiencies while driving internal team effectiveness and establishing collaborative processes for how we operate within Talent Acquisition. You will support initiatives across the full scope of the team, and drive innovative solutions that support the overall Talent strategic direction. You will focus on current and future recruiting solutions designed to grow talent pipelines across the business. Your role will manage a portfolio of programs and services for the enterprise and expand those services, as appropriate, to meet the growth needs at Bank of the West. Your success will be achieved by cultivating a broad network throughout the organization, and with key external partners and consultants. Your ability to connect with all levels of leadership, and identify, assess and prioritize short and long-term recruiting needs is essential.

Qualifications

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience in managing and overseeing a talent acquisition team and evidence of transforming the recruitment function within an organization.

  • Commercial and analytical know-how, along with strong communication and leadership skills. Must be strategic, influential and confident in building relationships with employees at all levels.

  • An understanding of advanced management approaches, such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

  • 12-15 years minimum prior relevant experience

Working Location: This position has the option to work in one of our key hubs (N. or S. CA, Tempe, AZ, Omaha, NE) or to work remotely as long as it is in within our 27 state working footprint which includes AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY, NY.
