Job Description Summary
Responsible for performing various operational activities and provide support in assigned unit. Assists Operational Unit meet service levels consistently by coordinating information among internal/external customers and resolving more complex and escalated operational issues.
Essential Job Functions
Responds to various complex operational issues for internal and/or external customers.
Identifies operational improvements.
Reviews and analyzes daily reports and makes recommendations as necessary.
Resolves escalated issues from internal and external customers.
Maintains thorough knowledge of unit policies, procedures, standards and workflow.
Other Job Duties
May act as a lead or coach to less experienced staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Requires 3 years minimum prior relevant experience. Preferred 5-8 years experience for WMG Client Services role.
Prior experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably Banking or Investment Management preferred.
Complete knowledge of the products, policies and processes related to unit assigned.
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) for completing daily work; Strong knowledge of Appian / TouchPoint / Host and other computer systems preferred.
Complete knowledge of banking operations as related to ACH, BSC, Foreign Exchange, Global Trade Operations (GTO), Transcation Processing, Wire transfer and Treasury Capital Markets operations (TCMO). Knowledge and ability to spot red flags in processing transactions, working knowledge of CDD and KYC programs and policies.
Good communication skills both oral and written; Able to work in fast paced environment while meeting tight deadlines for completion of work; Good customer service skills required; Ability to work well with all people across all levels within and outside the organization.
Wealth Mgmt Group - Client Services
Performs key functions in areas of Service, Research, and Account Services in support of WMG groups KCG & GIFS. Manages requests from clients and sales professionals for all service needs; Responds to client and advisor inquiries with a focus on "one call resolution"; Initiate transfer of funds & other transactional activity at the clients request and follows through to ensure successful completion; Partner with Privilege Connect and other business partners to successfully resolve all escalated service issues.
Account Services functions include New Accounts & Maintenance; Prepares, edits, distributes documentation for new account opening; Performs review and approval of all new accounts and account maintenance items; Properly verify that the regulatory requirements for various account registration types has been met; Ensure documentation accuracy; Perform data entry of complex new accounts and maintenance items; Ensure adherence with Books & Records requirements for regulatory reporting and supervision; Manage activities required to maintain Book of Business, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all internal/external systems, including all systems of record(SOR) and CRM tools for PCS, GIFS and BWIS as well as external insurance carriers; Ensure updates are made in accordance with relevant licensing requirements.
Perform Documentation & Scan/Mail functions including process all incoming mail timely, accurately, ensure time/date stamp is applied and activity is logged into the relevant blotters for processing; Complete multiple outgoing daily mail batches in accordance with processing deadlines which require MS Word & MS Excel skills); Process documents into the Ops workflow system through document identification and accurate labeling of work item by entry of required variables; Manage and maintain client and account documentation in accordance with Bank policies.
