Job Description Summary
Responsible for designing and executing a business unit or division sales strategy on various products with accountabilities for developing, implementing and managing sales training and related tactics as they relate to the business unit/division including the development and use of multi-channel points of distribution.
Essential Job Functions
Defines short term and long term sales training and tactics to create a consistent customer experience across all the product lines along with a cohesive customer acquisition strategy in conjunction with division leadership and related business groups within the Bank. Incorporates use of alternative channels, products and service in strategy. Effectively utilizes customer segmentation data in identifying target markets
Develops and implements simple and fresh sales strategies and performance tactics across for business unit/division to transform the sales culture by enhancing daily behaviors. Devises methods of tracking activities and behaviors to ensure a consistent customer experience, including on-boarding of new accounts.
Partners with Marketing to develop needed sales materials, direct mail and other activities as they relate to Marketing.
Develops local sales plans and tools for local market conditions.
Defines, develop and implement clear performance metrics and monitoring programs to track performance in a simple, easy to understand manner, including: product sales; expanding relationships and product use with existing customers.
Continually delivers communications that reinforces the overall sales strategy and culture, that recognizes the behaviors that are consistent with delivering the desired sales and service results, and speaks to leveraging service opportunities to enhance customer confidence and expanded relationships
Partners with Senior Leadership to develop sales programs to address specific market opportunities or performance behaviors. Monitors customer satisfaction performance scores, developing plans with Division Management, as necessary, to improve scores and performance. Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and key stakeholders ensuring effective: representation of products and services; performance reward program design; delivery of sales and service training; utilization of alternative channels.
Other Job Duties
Role will support SBA sales team and BBO sales team nationally
Focus on cash mgt./relationship selling focus for BBO team
Focus on growth of SBA loans, Small Loan Program sales and other SBA products
Develop and grow social media strategy w/internal partners
Support local events/sponsorships/booths
Develop and assist w/execution of campaigns
Support reporting and use of Microsoft Dynamics
Serve as primary communications director to sales teams, including recognition
Serve as sponsor for SA Advisory Council
- Bachelor's Degree Responsible for designing and executing a business unit or division sales strategy on various products with accountabilities for developing, implementing and managing sales training and related tactics as they relate to the business unit/division including the development and use of multi-channel points of distribution.
- P6 - 12 yrs Requires highest knowledge and mastery of multiple job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Viewed as the leading expert and/or resource within the field by peers within and outside the organization.Requires 12 years minimum prior relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of banking products, services, sales and delivery.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Interpersonal skill requirements including the ability to manage, lead, develop and motivate professional staff and ability to work on interdepartmental project teams, and make recommendations or take appropriate actions.
Excellent decision making, creative, and negotiations skills are required.
Excellent management skills required to manage all levels of personnel including matrix management as required.
